Are Vampires the new Superheroes?
Twilight topped the box office this weekend with $70.6 million in ticket sales!! Though there is obviously a long history of Vampires in film & TV, the success of the Twilight book series, the movie, a sequel in the works, and shows like HBO’s True Blood, CBS’s Moonlight makes me think Vampires have finally tipped!
Am guessing that a whole slew of Vampire-themed movies got green-lit this morning. But that’s just a guess.
Long live Vampires (is that a funny thing to say about the undead?)!
